James farmed at Weston, a hamlet lying between Stow and Bucknell on the road to Knighton. James married Ann and there were two children known from this marriage: Mary Ann b. 1798 married James Edwards and there was known to be at least one son from this marriage: James b. 1815. James (II) b.1801 married Ann Bright in 1819 in Clunbury. Ann b. abt 1853 married James Trow and there was known to be one child from the marriage. ii. James Richard b. 1857 married Elizabeth Ann Morris (1) and Ellen Brown (2). iii. Jane b. 1857 iv. George Edward b. 1859 married Celia Morris in 1883 in New Zealand. v. Charles b. abt 1859 vi. Arthur Robert b. 1860 married Catherine Mary Hand. There were five children from this marriage. Arthur emigrated to New Zealand as did his brother George. His son Henry Hyde farmed in Bucknell until his death in 1963. |
